August 2006

The construction trip to St. Isabel, Mexico was a huge success. It was a wonderful time of work and  worship & praise with lots of food and fellowship. We met up with the group from Ohio and another group from Orlando, FL. Brother Gary and Sister Peggy (the local American missionaries) along with the local pastor Ziggy Hernandez put together some great services every night we were there.

The children were so special and everyone there seemed very glad we were able to come and perform this act of God's will for their community. I believe everyone involved received a blessing from their involvement in this wonderful outreach ministry. Pastors and missionaries from many of the surrounding  communities came out to support this effort and help in the work.

Of course we ate well every day being fed by the ladies working from sunup to quitting time as hard as any one there. Several teachers from Progresso came and had a day of fun for all the kids with games and songs and lessons.

Mexico Missions had a pickup truck donated by a blessed individual and it was given in love to Doroteo Sanchez for him to continue his hard work for this Program. It was received with much joy and praise for they had no transportation of their own. What a blessing! Both in the pickup and in what all Doroteo does for the building of churches for Mexico Missions.

We return in March 2007 so start making plans to be a part of this wonderful ministry in Mexico.
